We didn't hear Toby in the night but apparently he did squawk a fair bit. He even woke Ollie in the next room at one point. Luckily we slept soundly and awoke for breakfast and a little housework before setting off for the Leisure Centre. We arrived at about 10.25 in time for Di's class (body balance). I went into the gym and did an hour's circuits ending up on the rower. I like to leave this till last as it generally exhausts me and makes me sweat like hell! We relaxed with a coffee afterwards before driving home. On the way we admired the jacaranda trees which are blooming everywhere and are very noticeable where blue coloured blossom is hardly the norm.
Back home we relaxed for the rest of the day as it was very muggy. After lunch Will and I drove to Avoca to pick up some timber from one of his brother's sites. (Stevo has his own building business). Then we drove to the new house where, miracle of miracles, the renderer had started and not only that, he was still there - at four thirty on a Saturday arvo! Strewth mate, what's the go? Still, the rendered bits did look rather handsome. Will and I worked on the pool for about an hour and managed, at last, to clear all macro-debris from the bottom and to get the "creepy-crawly" going. The salt from the other day was beginning to work and the water was now nearly clear. It had certainly lost its green colour.
We finished there by 5.30 and drove home to prepare a barbecued piri piri chicken meal. Delicious. We all watched an Aussi movie called "Kenny" before retiring at around 11.00.
